Position: FCP Assistant Editor
Location: Encino, CA
Duration: Staff, starts Immediately
Boutique production Company seeks Assistant Editor. AE will provide editorial support for numerous editors in 5 FCP HD edit bays and will work on a variety of projects. Projects include traditional documentaries, an alternative lifestyle reality series and occasional commercials and corporate projects. Dedication, ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of attention to detail is critical. Must have at least 2 years experience and be well versed in the use of Final Cut Pro, After Effects & Photoshop. Assistant will be expected to injest footage, manage media, upconvert and upres, output OMF audio files, output to tape, build credits and other basic graphics and make dubs. This is a swing or late night staff position that starts immediately.
