Posting Job Description Qualifications: Five or more years experience editing in a commercial post-production or broadcast environment is required. Experience with deadline-oriented promo, short-form and long form broadcast work is critical. Flexibility and the ability to work day or night shift required. Outstanding customer service and communication skills are a must. Self-motivated and highly flexible to varying work hours. Should be creative and have the ability to multi-task as required. Project management skills are also necessary. Must have strong working knowledge of non-linear systems like: Avid Media Composer, Adrenaline and Symphony. A working knowledge of Avid Unity and media management is necessary. A background or working knowledge of linear systems that includes: Sony or Grass Valley switchers, Sony DME or Accom Dveous, Axial 3000 editor. Must also know any digital video and audio peripherals necessary for linear and non-linear editing. Should also know AVX plug-ins, multiple tape formats (both SD and HD) and related test equipment for digital video and audio. Must be computer literate (MS Word, Excel and Outlook), internet and server savvy; should have basic Adobe Photoshop skills. A familiarity with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Particle Illusion, ScheduALL and Anystream is necessary. HDTV formats and workflow knowledge is highly desirable.

Duties: Editor 2 provides basic and more complex broadcast quality linear and/or non-linear video and audio editing utilizing industry standard hardware and software. Apply creative, contributive, technical and quality control skills to provide effective editorial services in a client driven, deadline oriented environment. Additional responsibilities include project management, and the ability to be pre-booked and client requested.
