National Sales Manager
KASW-WB6 is accepting applications for the position of National Sales Manager.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years national television sales experience preferred. Must have a proven track record of accomplishments and possess comprehensive communication and sales skills with the knowledge and ability to translate statistical data into effective sales presentations. Must be computer literate with knowledge of Nielsen, TV Scan, Scarborough and Ad Views, as well as expertise with Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Experience in making high-level sales calls to agencies and ability communicate with media directors, planners and buyers. College degree with strong language, math and organizational skills required. Valid Arizona driver’s license needed.
Duties
Make agency & direct sales call with Telerep to national clientele for the purpose of generating revenue for the station. Service national offices and handle accounts as determined by the General Sales Manager. All accounts and agency assignments are offered at the sole privilege of the station. Develop a thorough knowledge of station’s policies, procedures and operations. Provide Telerep offices and agencies with information about station (avails, research, specials, packages, rates and NTR opportunities). Present station information, negotiate business, approve orders, service clients and assist in maintaining inventory control. Knowledge of competitive programming, rates and ratings is necessary. Out of state travel and entertainment required.
