JOB SUMMARY:
Online editor of a weekly ½ hour television show including all spots – deadline intensive; assist at all studio and field production; direction of talent as needed; maintain all equipment and facilitate repairs; performs other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Knowledge of:
All Windows and Macintosh operating systems
Various video production procedures, broadcast production techniques and related systems and equipment or audio and lighting system theory and design.
Non-linear editing programs and techniques
Various 2-D and 3-D graphics programs.
Industry and FCC quality standards
Ability to:
Meet weekly deadline effectively and creatively.
Function in both a studio and field atmosphere.
Operate, maintain, and adjust video, audio, and remote production equipment or operating and adjusting audio and lighting systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot/maintain broadcast equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
5 years Video Production experience including pre-production, and post-production with special emphasis on AVID.
