Senior Designer

Assist the Design Director in managerial and creative tasks of the Graphics Department. Create and design electronic graphics for newscasts, print materials, and promotional signage for the station as needed. Will help develop and manage workflow and design solutions for all graphics projects. Help create, update, and maintain all station and newscast graphics. Demonstrated command of MAC computer systems with a thorough knowledge of Adobe products including Photoshop and Aftereffects, Quark, and Illustrator software necessary. Three years of electronic graphics experience at a television station, network, or design firm preferred. B.A./B.S. degree in Design or Fine Art or completion of study from an accredited Design School with an emphasis in electronic design required. Must be able to work with other staff members in a collaborative style. Must also be able to work well under tight deadlines and pressure. Will work Sunday through Thursday. Must be available to work flexible shifts to include weekends and early mornings.
