AVID Editor (Full Time)
"SEEKING FULL TIME VIDEO EDITOR
Full service film, video, multimedia and live event production company seeking highly creative and efficient Video Editor who also has motion graphics/design skills.
Must be self-motivated and flexible to varying work hours based on production schedules. Good communication skills a must. Must be familiar with operation of Avid, routers, mixers, multiple tape formats and their decks. (We have 1 AVID Adrenaline and 2 AVID MC Express suites.)
Familiarity with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop a must. Must be willing to relocate to Raleigh, NC area.
Looking for a very creative, fast editor with exceptional client skills. Expertise in other areas of production such as producer, director or creative writer is highly valued - as edit volume varies. Must be able to edit proficiently in Avid suites for short and long format content. Service clients'' needs on a broad scale and execute product in a timely and
professional manner. Work effectively with all necessary analog/digital audio and video equipment and related support gear. Concentrate on detail and control.
Troubleshoot effectively and keep sessions productive. Ability to interpret and anticipate the client''s creative and content needs and maintain sight of the overall goal of the piece throughout the editing process. In search of an individual with a strong overall knowledge of a
dynamic, full service post-production environment.
