Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Provide videotape and non-linear editing services for all projects
· May consult with producers/clients on pre-production basis to discuss specific project elements as they relate to post production
· Schedules office to best utilize available equipment and edit suites
· Assists department in maintaining tape library, including logging and general organization
· Strive to meet corporate goals of quality, esthetics, and look of the show
Minimum Requirements:
· 3-5 of industry experience in Multi-format A/B editing experience
· Understanding of post production equipment: Edit controllers, digital effects, character generators & graphics
· Knowledge of: Grass Valley, Smoke, Back Draft, & Flint
· Understanding and ability to operate non-linear editing systems
· Professional communicator with good oral and written skills
· Ability to multi-task
Preferred Requirements:
. Bachelors degree in TV/Film or related field preferred
