Director of Operations
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as primary contact for assigned Executive Producer (EP) with FSN employees and free-lance production.
- Serve as talent contact for EP's events for any questions and needs in the region.
- Manage and schedule remote production schedules, facilities and serve as liaison with the remote facility, crewing vendors and team partners.
- Schedule technical crews, including training and event management on a technical level.
- Work with EP to schedule production crew and talent at events.
- Gather information and materials needed for the production of events and arrange for delivery to appropriate personnel.
- Organize or participate in meetings and conference calls related to vents as required.
- Assist in the coordination and development of the FSN production department and comply with all requests by the EP as called for in the coordination and development of the department.
- Assist in the monthly report with EP.
- Track expenses for each event or production.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4-year degree preferred in Communications, Broadcasting or Radio/TV/Film, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in live event and/or news production and technical operations.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work without supervision and under pressure.
- Experience with production budgets is helpful.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Creative ability to perform job efficiently and effectively.
- Must be familiar with studio production and remote production facilities.
- Knowledge of the following computer programs: Windows 95, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
