Assist assignment editor in developing, researching and coordinating the coverafe of news stories. Help coordinate field operations of reporters, photographers and technicians. Work the telephones to develop stories and follow up stories on a daily basis. Must have the potential to develop into a qualified journalist with the ability to handle the assignment desk editor position on a fill in basis. Working knowledge of Boston area. Previous assignment desl experience preferred. Related college degree preferred.
