Q We Get It is a full service event production company with offices in Philadelphia, PA and Nashville, TN. Seeking an experienced professional to join the Nashville-based Production team.
The position is responsible for managing scenic development and implementation for a wide variety of clients including corporate theatre, special events and concert touring. This is a leadership position which will involve the development of packaging, process and training of other staff. Specific responsibilities include: managing staging and scenery inventory, producing shop-build drawings for bid purposes or in house manufacturing, developing standards in scenic and staging packaging, developing and managing timelines, negotiating with vendors, training and supervising set carps for on-site installations, and interfacing with clients.
The position requires an organized, energetic, creative team player with excellent multi-tasking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Must have specific prior event production, technical theatre, and touring experience. Heavy VectorWorks and/or Auto CAD experience is required as well as a strong understanding of set construction techniques. Prior supervisory experience is also required.
