Department Head Rigger
Reports To: Director of AV Services
Location: Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino
Responsibilities:
-Support Full Service Hotel Division in ensuring procedures for quality control and equipment are correct for assigned project.
-Train technician in areas as needed.
-Assist Directors in placing crews on various projects as needed.
-Interact with clients, hotels staff and other sales personnel regarding implementation of eletric equipment for specific applications.
-Oversee maintenance, packing and inventory of company eletric equipment.
-Must be fully knowledgeable of Encore Productions electric, lighting, and riggins equipment.
Requirements:
-Excellent communication skills including written, oral and presentation.
-Ability to listen carefully, responds intelligently, and follows up appropriately and consistently.
-Must have thorough knowledge of professional audiovisual equipment.
-Must be personable, self-motivated, self-starter with sense of urgency.
-Detail and service oriented with strong organizational skills.
-Ability to work within deadlines, in multi-task environment.
-Three to Five years of Hotel Rigging experience or a Combination of education, training and experience.
