Master Control

Experience: Equipment - Knowledge of Grass Valley switcher preferred. Knowledge of transmitter power parameters required. Machine playback from a variety of tape formats is essential. Experience with automation systems a plus. Must be a person who is organized, pays attention to detail and plans ahead. Must be able to work well under pressue. Must be able to work nights and week-ends.

Requirements: Education - Require high school diploma or equivalent.

1. Operate Control switcher, maintaining proper audio and video levels.
2. Observe and record transmitter power and frequency readings, adjusting them to legal limits if necessary.
3. Back-time and adjust all "On-Air" material, so when a show is started, it will end at a pre-determined time using automation.
4. Load programs on video tape machines, and server based equipment, adjusting audio and video levels for proper playback.
5. Align satellite receiver dish, adjusting audio and video levels as well as recording programs.
6. Dub commercials into video servers with proper audio and video levels.
7. Operate Crispin and Louth automation equipment.
8. Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
