While attending Columbia College in Chicago I took on the task of editing what was called "Flash frames" as part of a graduation credit. Flash frames were interviews done by graduating students where they talk about their major(s), their accomplishments, their motivations, and show case their best work. It was my duty to take almost three hours worth of footage and cut it down to a two minute interview.
