About
"The first time I saw someone get shot, I was 10 years old," says Delfino Jacquez. It's a stunning statement from the senior point guard at Kansas City's Northeast High School. It's even more striking that the story is not all that uncommon among students in the Kansas City Missouri School District. Neighborhood violence, urban flight, and community indifference are among the many obstacles student athletes must struggle to overcome. SpiegelCreative presents "CityBall," a powerful documentary exposing the challenges these inner city student athletes face.
