About
Dr Frankie Summers' quantum communication research grant has been withdrawn. At a turning point in her life she starts to experience strange phenomena. Is she going crazy, or is it Michael Lascelles the strange man next door whose flat is always making odd noises as he recklessly works on his inventions unwittingly opening up a doorway to 1880's Jamaica.
The production faced challenging circumstances not only due to the lack of an independent film production infrastructure, but was further impacted by a very small budget which forced the use of strangers on the street or at locations to act a part in the story. Same Life features fresh undiscovered talent and an unique soundtrack including an interactive game being developed at Aston University; www.maryandmartin.com to see the Webisodes.
A love story set over 4 time periods and across the world. Filmed on locations in Notting Hill, Harlem, Botany Bay and Dublin, with direction given across the internet!
