This video was created as a promotional piece for the Illinois Center for Broadcasting. The main purpose of this video was to inform Congress of the importance of vocational schools such as ICB. In August Congress was voting a bill that would cut funding of government grants issued to vocational schools. This was an attempt to sway voting the opposite way and keep funding for schools like the Illinois Center for Broadcasting.
Credits
Lisa Apprati formally of Comcast was the Executive Producer. I (Damian Perrone) was a producer and editor and post production VFX/motion graphics.
Technical Info
The whole video was shot on Panasonic AG-HMC150 AVCCAM Camcorder, and some previous archival footage shot on a Sony PD-170 DV-cam. It was edited on Final Cut Pro and all the motion graphics were created on Adobe after Effects CS4.
