In this interview Tom talks with us about new products & advancements to their Matchbox, HS2 Fixture, Matchstix Light Fixtures.
The Cineo Matchbox is the latest in versatile, portable Remote Phosphor Lighting for motion picture and television production. At 3.25” x 5.25” x 1.5” and 15 oz, the Matchbox outputs a stunning amount of high-quality light at a variety of accurate interchangeable color temperatures. A wide range of input power lets you run Matchbox on any input voltage from 6-26VDC, as well as AC with the included adapter. The Matchbox includes an on-board 0-100% flicker-free dimmer that works in conjunction with upstream DMX or remote dimmers. Available in a variety of color temperatures, the color quality perfectly matches other Cineo soft lights. The bottom of the fixture includes a standard 1/4”-20 tap, allowing for limitless mounting options. Ruggedly built from anodized aluminum, these small sources can easily withstand the most demanding applications in both the field and the studio.
The HS2 lamphead features a single piece design for increased ruggedness, as well as an improved safety switch for better reliability. 80/20 mounting slots on both the sides and back of the fixture make attaching yoke and accessories easy. Two distinct mixing chambers allow custom CCT mixing via DMX. New hinged top access panel allows for easy, one-handed phosphor panel and accessory changes.
Cineo Lighting and Litegear have teamed up to develop the Matchstix series of small, versatile Remote Phosphor light sources. Matchstix operate from any DC power source from 11.5 to 16 VDC, including many battery options. Standard co-ax DC power connector permits the use of a large variety of power supply options. Matchstix are optimized for flawless, flicker-free control with Litegear Litedimmers.
Only 35mm wide, Matchstix are available in 3, 6” and 12” lengths and are surprisingly bright for their size. Available in all Cineo color temperatures, their color quality perfectly matches all other Cineo softlights. The back side of all Matchstix includes a standard cold-shoe slot for limitless mounting options virtually anywhere.
