About
An interview from the 2015 Cine Gear LA Expo at Paramount Studios with Tracy Christall of JK Imaging. JK Imaging Ltd., the worldwide licensee for KODAK PIXPRO Digital Cameras and Devices, has unveiled the revolutionary new KODAK PIXPRO SP360 Action Camera, an innovative HD recording device to capture stunning 360° immersive videos and still images without the need for multiple cameras.
The SP360 Action Camera captures 360-degrees field of view in multiple directions via its dome shaped lens design and can be panned not only 360-degrees horizontally, but also up and down with a host of different vantage points and views for playback post capture. It is easy-to-use and small enough to fit in the palm of a hand or pocket for extreme portability.
Previously, 360° panoramic photography required users to possess advanced technique, specialized equipment, multiple cameras in some instances, and specialized software to capture and stitch multiple photos together so they appear seamless.
