About
Lowe's wanted to show multiple floors in multiple rooms, and didn't want any cheesy GFX. We gave them exactly what they wanted. We built four entire sets, all with no floors, but with all the furniture and trim installed. We then built multiple floors for each set, all on casters so they could roll in and out of the sets. We shot it with a CamBlock motion control system doing multiple passes of each set and changing out the floors between passes, then overlapping the shots in post with transitions between them. All the effects you see here were done in-camera. It was a huge juggling affair, having to light everything to allow for the floors to be able to roll in and out, and keep the lighting identical from shot to shot. All in all, great fun!
