Everyone that knows her, describes Bethany Ciccarelli as a sweet, warm, and compassionate little girl that loves to laugh and play with her older brother and three sisters. At only 5 years old, little Bethany was diagnosed with leukemia. The news turned her hard-working family's life upside down almost immediately. As Bethany's chemotherapy treatments intensified over the months to follow the emotional and financial stress on this family also mounted. The Ciccarellis were at their most desperate when Bethany's father Mario lost his job -- and with it the family's medical insurance.
Family Reach Foundation immediately stepped in, as they do for dozens of families just like the Ciccarelli's every year. FRF is a non-profit organization that provides financial relief and heartfelt support to families fighting cancer.
Fade In: Creative's Dan Fabrizio (writer / producer), Dan Davis (director of photography), and Matt Cori (editor) collaborated on this film that tells the Ciccarelli's powerful story.
