For Photo Contributors, Shutterstock accepts photos in JPG format that are at least 4.0 megapixels. For Illustration Contributors, Shutterstock accepts EPS files (max. 15 MB) or JPG (min. 4.0 megapixels). For Video Contributors, Shutterstock accepts footage that is between 5 and 60 seconds long. Video Contributors earn 30% of the sale price received by Shutterstock for each clip sold. For example, a regularly priced HD clip ($79) would pay $23.70.
