In this interview Aaron talks with us about the E.P.I.C. 19 Monitor, from Autoscript. Aaron also goes over some products from Autocue, like the Master Series & iPad Teleprompter package.

The E.P.I.C 19 from Autoscript, is the large version of the world's first fully integrated prompting and on-air system which brings major benefits, like solving the major operational problem of using on-air monitors – there’s no extra mounting bracket and therefore no restriction of camera tilt range. It also features simplified cable management – one power cable for the prompter and on-air monitor, while ClockPlus and TallyPlus are powered via 12V DC from prompter; the video signal loops through prompter.

The new Autocue ultra-thin LED MSP20 is the latest and greatest in teleprompter hardware and provides an unbeatable solution for large studio environments. The world's only ultra-thin LED-backlit teleprompter monitor - providing sufficient brightness and contrast ratios to be used in any lighting conditions, inboard cable management, in-built dimmable tally light, significant power savings, and a weight saving of over 25%. The Master Series Teleprompter features the most flexible mounting system, the Pro Plate (or rods for large studio box lenses), which slides backwards and forwards to accomodate any size of camera.

The iPad Autocue & Teleprompter is a complete hardware package enabling you to turn an iPad into a portable teleprompter. It features iPad slots into a custom-made mounting plate to hold it securely in position beneath the broadcast quality prompter glass. It is designed to be used with the iAutocue teleprompting software available for download from the App Store.

iAutocue is a game changer for prompting short pieces to camera in the field. It allows you to send video from an iPad to an external teleprompter monitor, thus using the iPad as an edit workstation, a prompt preview and a scroll control for the teleprompter. It also includes a “rehearsal mode” to record yourself practicing, as well as an unrivalled number of fire share methods and scroll control options.
