In this interview James talks with us about the EasyRig & FlowCine products, like the Gravity One & Serene.
The Gravity One, G-1, is a two axis gimbal camera support. It's built entirely in highest grade aluminium which makes it very light and extremely strong. The main purpose for the G-1 is to simplify camera handling when working with a body mount such as the Easyrig. It also simplifies handheld camera work and greatly reduces motion artefacts and unwanted motion in shots where the photographer is walking or running.
The Serene is a two axis spring arm that attaches at the end of the Easyrig arm. It stabilizes vibrations and motion errors on the vertical axis that comes from walking or running with the rig. It also stabilizes side to side errors in the same scenarios by counter pivoting around it’s centre axis. At the same time you have full use of the Easyrig spring extension that will allow you to go from high to low mode while at the same time the Serene will take care of the vertical and side to side stabilization adding two more stabilized axis to your existing system.
The Serene can take rigs between 5-20 kg, and you can easily fine tune the spring tension without tool. Of course it works great with the Gravity One, but it also works well with other gimbal rigs like the Freefly Mövi, B-steady or most other gimbal rigs.
