About
This teaser is part of a larger project about the entire process of oil exploration in Saudi Arabia. It focuses on seismic exploration. We filmed in November 2013 in the Saudi Arabian part of the remote Rub al-Khali desert (the so-called "Empty Quarter").
Our very special thanks go to GUOLAI WANG of Sinopec, and our gratitude to all other Sinopec staff in the Ramlah 62 remote survey camp: without your ability to improvise and your inventiveness, this film would have been impossible.

Technical Info
We used Canon 5D Mark III, set to "faithful" mode. The teaser footage is NOT color corrected. Unfortunately we were constrained to film with only photo zoom lenses.
