An interview from the 2014 International Broadcasting Convention in Amsterdam with Frieder Hochheim of Kino Flo Lighting Systems. Kino Flo is a manufacturer and designer of fluorescent lighting equipment for film, video, TV broadcast and digital imaging productions. In this interview Frieder showcases the new Celeb 400Q DMX LED fixture.
Kino Flo’s new innovative Celeb 400Q DMX LED is a soft, cool LED ideally suited for today’s growing demands for energy efficient, portable, yet color-correct LED lighting. The 400Q is one of the largest LED soft lights available in the market today measuring 30” x 26” (76cm x 66cm). The Celeb produces a soft, broad wraparound light quality (PRI 95) and produces color faithfully, beautifully on HD or film, in the studio or on location. It also boasts technical innovations like dial-in white light from 2700 to 5500 Kelvin and presets with programmable settings and full range dimming without flicker or color shift. The push-button Kelvin presets can be fine-tuned to custom settings from 2700K to 5500K with a turn of a dial.
With its soft, Flicker-free light and compact, quiet design, the Celeb 400Q makes a great tool for rigorous everyday use in any studio environment or on location.
