First Tech Challenge

About

I worked closely with Kevin Ross (WA First Robotics Chairman) in creating a script that would tell the story of a First Tech Challengev team that won the WA First Robotics State Championship. This video follows a team as they get their robot equipment, build their robot, strategize and practice with their robot and then go compete against other high school teams.

This was a fun project because we had to recreate the whole process of going through a year of being on a WA First Robotics team and we did it in two days. I also went out to tournaments to get footage of the team in action.

The video is used across the country by WA First Robotics in order to educate parents and children about what First Tech Challenge is all about.

My duties on this project include: Writer, Producer, Director, Director of Photography, Editor, and Animator.
