VARAVON strives to create unique and innovative products for the aspiring and professional filmmakers alike.They first released the Profinder, a unique DSLR viewfinder featuring a double mirror system which allows you to capture moments, be it photo or video, in low angle perspectives. To this day, the Profinder is one of their best selling products. Soon after, they released the Slidecam, then the Armor which broke traditional design standards whilst not risking performance and practicality.
The Slide Cam Lite 800 features three ball-bearing rollers for smooth linear camera movements, a track with removable, height-adjustable legs, and multiple 1/4 or 3/8" mounting points for use with one or more tripods. In addition, the rails are chrome plated to resist rust. The carriage is tension-adjustable and features a brake, a 3/8" tie down screw and a bubble level.
The Slide Cam Lite 800 weighs approximately 3.3 lbs and can support a maximum capacity of up to 19.8 lbs. For optimal performance, Varavon suggests loads between 7 to 13 lbs. When used with either one or two tripods, the track can be set-up in a variety of orientations, including horizontal, vertical, sloped and flipped.

Features include a jam-free manual pressure release valve and latches, an o-ring seal, large front handle and side handles for easy carry, wheels with bearings and digital lock (optional). The Explorer Cases are available in a variety of sizes to suit your needs, and can be purchased with or without internal customizable foam bedding, dividers or heavy duty padded divider bags and custom lid panel organizers. Shoulder straps are also available.
