In this interview Mitch talks with us about their renowned Odyssey 7, a professional OLED monitor including robust recording options suitable for DSLR to 4K cine applications, Waveform, Zebras, Histogram, Vectorscope, Focus Assist, False Color, Timecode Display and Audio Level Meters, and 1:1 Pixel mode. The Odyssey7 includes HDMI I/O, and SD/HD/3G-SDI I/O; in both single and dual link configurations.

The Odyssey7Q includes compressed HD and uncompressed recording support, so when you add the $795 Sony FS700 Raw Option, you are gaining 4K YCC 10-Bit Compressed up to 60fps, 2K Raw 12-Bit up to 240fps (CinemaDNG), HD YCC 422 10-Bit Compressed up to 60fps & RGB 444 12-Bit Compressed up to 60fps.
This option can be added at anytime, from the Convergent Design website. You will receive a simple activation key at the point of your online purchase, which you enter into your Odyssey7Q, and it's ready to go. The Odyssey7Q interfaces directly with the FS700; so no additional hardware is necessary!
