In 2008 we set out to make a simple documentary about the connection between horse and man. 290 hours of video and over 1000 still images later we have created a 3 part, 3 hour series about our love for horses.
The horse has forever touched our lives. Our story traces our fascination with and connection to the horse, from prehistoric times to modern day and beyond. And although this connection is hidden deep within our collective conscious its evidence is ever present. So common is this image it has become overlooked, almost invisible. Yet horses are prominent in our art, literature, colloquialisms, our architecture, fashions, our sports, our celebrations and for some, in their every day lives.
So whether you own a horse, ride or simply admire horses from afar... you will learn a great deal about our relationship with this majestic creature through the centuries.
