Filming fast motion events is never easy, especially on your own. I used a 15ft painter's pole, bike mounts and lots of fast thinking to capture this massive bike ride in Miami in 2012. My goal was to capture the faces of people and the spirit of community involved. Social media is an inevitable part of our lives these days, and I tried to find an innovative way to reflect how those tools come into play. The end result, for me, was a snapshot in the lives of hundreds of different people in a big city like Miami.
