A colleague and I traveled to Iraq in early 2013 to film a half-hour documentary as part of a journalism training program in the country. We traveled to Baghdad and Basra to interview sources and capture original video of the country. We worked with translators to conduct interviews in Arabic, and wrote a script in English, which was passed in to Arabic. The final film was produced to air on Iraqi television.
