"Part of being home is being where you belong," states Dr. Bill Thomas, founder of the Green House Project. When he envisioned The Green House concept he wanted to create a home rather than a "home-like" environment. He wanted every Green House home to feel warm and inviting and be a place of safety and refuge. Most importantly, he wanted the individuals living and working there to create home together. Dr. Bill Thomas reflects on what it means to create Real Home, and how this value is foundational to The Green House model.
