About
A new viral web video featuring Drew Brees for Dick’s Sporting Goods. In line with the heavy focus on sports-related concussions from both the media and athletic leagues at all levels, the project revolves around an initiative from Dick’s Sporting Goods called PACE (Protecting Athletes Through Concussion Education) that encourages athletes to get a baseline concussion test called imPACT that can be used to measure against future head trauma.
The video, entitled “Who Dat Cabbie”, features Brees as a taxi cab driver pulling the meter on unsuspecting passengers in New York. The New Orleans Saints quarterback peppers the riders with questions about concussion-related facts and stats during a fun jaunt along Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
The shoot, which took place in early June, had Producers Director Rip Lambert, and Executive Producer Ross Jones, travel from their home office in Hampden up I-95.
