Abstract: Nothing here is just what it seems at first glance. Created by Paul Ackerman's cubist approach, these ballet-burlesque dancers, contortionist, pole dancers and aerialist live in floating virtual worlds. A symphony of sounds, texture and emotions takes you away to a mysterious universe called DANSE BLEUE.

Media: Body Mapping by Paul Ackerman. Many of the original images were created by combining computer graphics, hand painting the color and etching directly onto film, an painterly approach to lighting dancers. With a BFA in Drawing and Photography, a lot of attention to detail is applied to both the science and art.
