Eric Johnston, Product Specialist for OConnor, discusses a new camera system introduced at IBC 2012--the OConnor Digital Cinema Camera Bundle. Usable with a variety of cameras, including the Blackmagic Cinema Camera, Canon 5D, Panasonic AF100, and Sony FS700 among others, the Digital Cinema Camera Bundle consists of three main components--the base plate, the follow focus, and the mattebox. The OConnor Universal Base Plate features a unique anti-camera twisting solution by creating two additional points of contact with the camera using its rear 15mm rods. The O-Box WM Mattebox is compatible with either two 4x5.65 filter trays or 4x4 filter trays and features a sunshade made of a highly rugged material. The O-Focus DM dual mini follow focus ring attaches directly to the focus wheel of the camera lens creating a very smooth and accurate focus pull.
