About

Michael Schiehlen of Carl Zeiss discusses a few new additions to the company's special camera lens range of Compact prime and zoom lenses featured at IBC 2012. The Carl Zeiss Compact Zoom CZ.2 lens features a 70-200mm focal length and a t-stop of 2.9, covering the full frame center. A major advantage of using the Compact Zoom C.2 is that this lens has no zoom shift. A 28-80mm medium range focal length lens is also available as a part of the Compact Zoom lens family and has similar features to the CZ.2.
