Randy Wedick, Technical Consultant for Band Pro Film & Digital, discusses the introduction of a few new products to the camera equipment sales company's product line. Products discussed include the new 16mm Leica Summilux-C camera lens, which features a longer focal length, the ability to create a very sharp image with a gentle falloff, and is made from a variety of exotic glass. 29mm and 65mm macro lenses are also available as a part of the Leica Summilux-C family of lenses. The Cineflex camera mounting plate allows a variety of cameras to be mounted and built up with accessories for use either in the field or in-studio. And the DeepX underwater camera housing, designed specifically for use with the RED Epic camera, features a Nikonos lens system on the front that provides strong edge-to-edge video resolution. The Leica Summilux-C lenses, Cineflex camera mounting plate, and DeepX underwater camera housing were all featured by Band Pro Film & Digital at IBC 2012.
