Video Memories

About

A short documentary that I worked on for a couple years. Inspired by the shorts of Alain Resnais and thoughts on memory, this film is about my two grandmothers, both of which have passed away. I explore the relationships between my memories of experiences with them and how my memories have been altered (created; faked; distorted; augmented) by the precious photos and videos I possess of them. Shot on my MiniVHS camcorder and edited with home movies and photographs, this is a very personal film.
