While listening to music for a commercial, I found some funky beats and had the idea to a fun promotion for our sports guys and their weekly challenge. My boss told me to run with it and some of my co-workers never quite understood what was going on, but it was fun and people really dug it.
This is what the Gandy's guy who needed to approve the spots had to say. "I love it. I Approve it! Just enough bad acting (sorry Pete) and 1970's schmuck to make it work!" And a viewer called in and left a voice mail to Pete that said, "Pete, you look badass."
I couldn't say it better myself...
This spot was a gold medal award winner in the 2009 Lubbock Addy's.
