Jump Around

About

Jump Around is a 16 mm short film, made primarily using an Optical Printer. This was a project a friend and I created for an Advanced Image Manipulation course. The idea was to take something banal (the clock) and make it more enticing/exciting. To achieve this effect we used magic marker on the film, scratched it up with some pins and even burned it in a few places.

Technical Info

Original clock footage filmed on Kodak Plus-X Super 16 mm film with Bolex H16 Reflex camera. Copies of footage filmed on print stock, using a 16 mm optical printer. All film was then hand tank processed and edited by Daniel and myself.
