Scorpio Telescopic Camera Crane Rentals aka Technocrane / Supertechno

About

We created this video to give people a real sense of what a Telescopic Camera Crane Can do. We shot this using two Scorpio telescopic camera cranes (more commonly referred to as Technocranes or Supertechno) & three RED ONE CAMERAS. The 23' Mini Scorpio is the most versatile telescopic camera crane in the world. It's dolly wheels fold in, allowing it to fit through a common 30" doorway. It goes from being a 5' crane to a 23' crane in just under 4 seconds. This crane works in confining interiors that couldn't fit any other telescopic crane. The arm has 18' of travel allowing it to work as the perfect dolly. It's the only crane that has "Arc Compensation" that allows the arm to automatically run a straight line vertically or horizontally. You can program repeatable moves & limits when needed.

This shows how easy & intuitive it is to use the Scorpio Hand Bar Controls & Scorpio Mini Remote Head. These hand bars also have on the grips controls for Focus, Iris, Zoom & Roll. You can easily adjust the dampening & speed on your pan & tilt along with recording moves and setting limits. This makes it easy for anyone who doesn't have the feel or experience for hand wheels. Any ENG camera operator who's run a studio camera will feel right at home on these controls.

There are only four of these cranes in the U.S. & we're the proud owners of #4 here in Miami. Single day rentals we service the South Florida Area. Rentals of 3 or more days, we rent & deliver to anywhere in the Southeast United States, rentals of 5 or more days we rent & deliver to anywhere in the Continental U.S.

We also have a complete RED ONE MX Camera package with Cooke 18mm-100mm Zoom & 7 RED PRO PRIMES that can be bundled with the crane for even more production savings.
