Illinois Film Office

About Us

The Illinois Film Office represents the whole of the Illinois Film production industry to promote and facilitate film production to and within the state of Illinois. Specific promotional efforts target the global production industry (GPI). The GPI is a network of decision makers involved in the production of feature films, television series, special movies, commercials, corporate films, industrial films, documentaries, still photography and music videos.

The Illinois Film Office also provides technical assistance to film and television production companies by scouting locations, finding production and back-up services, and fostering cooperation with local groups and individuals to further facilitate film production in Illinois.
