About Us

The Office works with city and federal agencies, residents and the business community on your behalf throughout all phases of the production process and provides 24-hour assistance during actual filming. Requests for the use of locations, police and fire department personnel and other requirements for filming on publicly owned land should be directed to the Office. Most publicly administered buildings may be utilized at no fee. However, before receiving a permit, companies must submit a standard Certificate of Insurance for $1,000,000 naming the Government of the District of Columbia as additional insured.
