About Us

TAURUS ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY (the corporation T.E.C.) was formed as a feature film distribution company in 1987, in a joint venture between United Artist Theater Circuit and Artist Entertainment Group. In December of 1990, Artist Entertainment Group contracted to purchase 50% of UATC's ownership in Taurus. Artist Entertainment Group also acquired from UATC its ownership in 24 film corporations, of which they were sole owners or joint venture partners, representing a library of 45 films. Artist Entertainment also acquired 100% of United Film Distribution, Inc. (U.F.D.), a Delaware Corporation. Taurus Entertainment Company has grown since its inception and is now in the business of developing, producing, packaging and distributing motion pictures and television series. Taurus Entertainment Company acquires up to 10 new products every year, and will be expanding to provide more genre and specialty films by the year 2000.
