Colby-Sawyer College

About Us

Communication Studies students gain valuable professional skills in production classes and have the opportunity to hone these skills by participating in internships, as well as a number of communications-related student activities on campus.

The recently completed Baker Communication Center offers state-of-the-art production facilities in digital and analog video production, digital and analog audio production, desktop publishing, web page design, and multimedia production.

To provide students with the widest possible exposure to the field of communication studies, the department regularly sponsors visits and lectures by distinguished writers, documentary film and feature film producers.
