The Minnesota Film Board strives to have the best staff of any film commission in the nation. It is a staff of filmmakers, not bureaucrats — virtually every staff member has production experience — that is focused on serving the Minnesota production community and every visiting filmmaker who chooses Minnesota. Focus Areas:
*Feature Films/TV Movies-have brought $115 million new dollars to Minnesota.
*Minnesota Independent Features-Innovative programs have enabled 16 indie features to complete production in the last five years.
*National Television Series-bring $20 million new dollars to the state every year. *Television Commercial Production-A new sales tax exemption will reinvigorate the spot market.
