About Us

Cine Sin Fin was established by A La Brava in the summer of 1995 by four brothers: Jaime and Marcos Gutierrez, and Eduardo and Ernesto Espinoza to create a summer venue for Chicana/o independent filmmakers, writers, directors, and actors to showcase their film projects at a film festival in Greater East Los Angeles for the community. Cine Sin Fin is to empower, personify and humanize an experience to those who would otherwise not be familiar with it and promote positive images of Chicanas/os in film.

Each year we screen 20 to 30 films depending with an approximate 2000 persons audience. The panel discussion with industry leaders introduces the growing trends of Hollywood towards our community. The workshops in acting, directing, production, writing and activism are coordinated by industry professionals and well attended.

Cine Sin Fin introduced the awards categories to recognize the achievements of these independent filmmakers, writers, directors, and actors.
