About Us

Zion Independent Film Festival is held beneath the majestic red mountains of Zion National Park in Springdale, Hurricane and St. George Utah November 10-13, 2005, with festival previews on October 29, November 4 & 5, 2005. In addition to the Feature and Short film Competitions, the festival focuses on the Senior Screen (films that show seniors in a positive light,) Cinema Kokopelli (films made be Native Americans,) and ¡Floreo! (Latin American Cinema.) Entry deadline is September 15, 2005. Unique to film festivals is ZIFF''s "Film Tour" a behind-the-scenes panel discussion on a hiking trail that culminates in the showing of the film.
