Nakia Merrill

About Me

My name is Nakia "Boog" Merrill, I am a 26 year old, mass communication graduate from Southeastern Louisiana University. My experience includes camera assistant and production manager on College Hill, and working as a production assistant at WAFB-TV. While working on the pilot of College Hill I was a camera assistant where I supply tapes and provided sound at times for the field director. Some of my other responsibilities were to have people sign waiver forms and logged tapes with daily events that took place. For the first season of College Hill, I was the production manager. My main duties were to balance and maintain the show''s budget, as well as coordinator the ransportation for the crews daily. Other one of my main task was to make sure that the daily footage was sent to Edmonds Entertainment via FedEx. I am currently working at WAFB-TV in Baton Rouge, La, as a production assistant.
