About Us

Founded in 1995, the non-profit Center for Contemporary Printmaking is a unique combination of multi-media studios, a gallery and a resource center dedicated exclusively to exhibiting, creating and preserving original prints, works on paper, papermaking, photography and artists books. The Center is located in an historic landmark 19th Century stone carriage house, an architectural gem transformed into an important art resource and is the only Center of its kind between New York and Boston.Through its exhibitions and education programs, the Center increases awareness, knowledge and appreciation of prints and printmaking process for artists, art collectors and all who are interested in expanding their artistic horizons. Major gallery exhibitions, many favorably reviewed in the NY Times, give both an historic and contemporary view of printmaking.

The Centers print collection, primarily of 20th Century American and international works, is available for exhibition and study.
